Join LWV Greenwich, Greenwich High School Social Studies Department, Wilton High School and Greenwich Historical Society for our 8th Annual Community Case Discussion on April 24th. This year, we will be welcoming adults and students as we read, discuss and debate the Harvard Business School case titled “Democracy and Women’s Rights in America: The Fight Over the ERA.”

Starting with the long struggle which culminated in women’s suffrage in 1920, the case then examines the challenging path to ratification faced by the ERA, an effort that continues to the present day. You will have the chance to step into the shoes of a Florida State Senator and share how you would have voted on the ERA - and why.

We are pleased to welcome our experienced case moderators, Aaron Hull from Greenwich High School and Alison Waller from Wilton HS, both of whom trained with HBS Professor David Moss in case method teaching.

Those who sign up will be provided with the HBS case reading and preparatory questions upon registration, and everyone is expected to read the case and come to the event prepared to discuss it. Registration deadline is April 17th.
